Supervision

I am a qualified and experienced person-centred counsellor and supervisor. I work with adults, and children and young people (CYP).

I supervise therapists who work with adults and children. I provide both group and individual supervision.

I understand how crucial a good supervisory relationship is, and I would work alongside you to support you in your practice. As a person-centred supervisor, I am keen to facilitate your congruence and ability to relate in depth through reflection on your experience of self in the relationship with clients. 

I have worked in education for over 20 years, and as such, have a great deal of experience. During this time I was a classroom teacher and a Deputy Head Teacher.  I have also worked as a School Counsellor and as a CYP practitioner for over 4 years.

 I have worked with both adult and child survivors of sexual violence and trauma and can offer supervision if you are working with this client group. I have a lot of experience in working around trauma, and I am a trauma informed practitioner.

I have wealth of experience of working with student counsellors, both individually and in groups, and offer a concessional rate for this.
